Dr. Carmona is an Internal Medicine physician known for his patient-first approach and calm, compassionate care. Originally from Cuba, he graduated from the University of Medical Sciences of Pinar del Río before completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami.
He brings more than a decade of experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, with a strong focus on prevention, chronic disease management, and patient education. Dr. Carmona believes great medicine starts with listening and truly understanding the person behind the symptoms.
Patients often describe him as thoughtful, genuine, and easy to talk to. His dedication to explaining care in a way people can understand has built a reputation for medical care that feels human again.
Kira was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Puerto Rico, where she earned her nursing degree. Over the years, she has worked in several specialties, spending much of her career in emergency medicine. That experience taught her to stay calm under pressure and care for patients with precision, empathy, and heart.
She is passionate about connecting with her patients and helping them take an active role in their health. Her warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine care make her someone patients quickly trust and feel comfortable with.

She oversees operations and patient experience from start to finish, making sure every visit runs smoothly and every patient feels valued. Anais’s approach blends structure with heart, creating an environment where both patients and staff feel supported.
